Three-Physician Family Health Centre Under Construction in Akçalı, Arsuz

With funding from Action Medeor, one of Germany’s long-established health and humanitarian aid organisations, ICF is constructing a three-physician Family Health Centre in Akçalı, Arsuz, Hatay. The larger facility is designed to serve a wider area and provide primary healthcare to more people. Construction is ongoing.

As part of the Inclusive Healthcare Hatay Project, Action Medeor’s Director of Programmes and Programme Manager visited the project site in August together with ICF’s Board Chair, Director of Programmes, and Field Coordinator. The delegation reviewed the ongoing construction works and discussed the project’s current progress.

ICF and Action Medeor are pleased to contribute to strengthening Hatay’s healthcare infrastructure as part of the recovery following the earthquakes.
